Bloggers who Brunch

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend Birmingham Blogger’s Instagram Brunch this past Saturday! And I must say events like this make me super excited to be a blogger. Being able to network with other bloggers and just bonding is amazing. Let alone the fact that they can understand where you are coming from when you just want to complain about blog stuff is just perfect.

The brunch was held at The Nest in downtown Birmingham and our lovely founders of Bham Bloggers Meredith and Beth setup a beautiful spread with the amazing and I mean AMAZING cooking by Rachel the blogger behind, Stupid Good Rachel! If you need a cook I have found the person for your event!
We not only ate well we were taught some tips on how to take great instagram photos and of course we took plenty of photos, to try out our tips. We learned about lighting, the power of threes, and much much more. I think the best part was just meeting people and putting blogs to people. Especially seeing the lovely Chandler of Shotguns and Seashells and Parker of Fast Foodie and meeting Layken of Southern Scripted, Liz from izzy is dizzy, and of course more!

What I wore to the event. I took my newest favorite shoes by Tory Burch from Shopbop and of course couldn’t play it simple. I had to mix pattern prints. So I grabbed my cheetah dress from ASOS and paired it with a black and white pattern skirt. I love to play around so I did today when I was with other bloggers because I can experiment and not be judged. I love being able to be in a supportive group of women and men.
