“Forget it, Jake. It’s Chinatown”

I am falling back in love with my leather jacket seeing these photos again.
Like I said yesterday these photos are from a few months ago but crazily I would still wear these kinds of outfits today even in the heat. My sister actually asked me yesterday why I was wearing jeans and long sleeves down in Mobile. Well, because I want to and I feel the most comfortable in that outfit.

Some or most people would think I am crazy to wear something like this into the spring and summer but I will and I will not complain – too much about being hot. This is one of the many reasons I think I live in the wrong state. I need to live somewhere that has less humid summer and actual falls. Because this girl would rather wear fall clothes all year. Give me leather jackets all year round and I will be one happy girl! Now that topic brings up another one that has been running through my head lately.

Do I really need to stay in the south?

Do not get me wrong I actually do like the south, I like southern football – I like being close to the beach actually to the Gulf – there are some great towns and cities in the south – I do like the people – I love the trees – I also really love driving in the south – and most importantly my close family lives in the south.

Today I even talked not exactly about moving but about what is on the horizon and it makes me think about the changes that I deep down have but am too afraid to act upon. Including moving maybe a little be more north or all the way. Who really knows?
