Is it cliche to say a vacation changed my take on a lot of things in my life? Well even if it is, it is a true statement. Recently I went on a amazing trip to the beach with some of my best girl friends. As many would call it #girlstrip2017 #baecation. I would call it the vacation I desperately needed. Though I found myself in southern Alabama and not a new state to play in the company I gained was by far just what I needed.
These girls gave me the fresh air I so desperately needed in my own life. Life has been rough lately. I have tried so hard to not dwell on it because when I do I get very emotional and as I have been told many times these past few days: Do not let things take over your emotions and all your energy.
These girls unknowing allowed me to do that. I stepped away and lived my life. It was magical. I have tried so hard to carry that feeling on throughout the rest of my life and I think I am doing pretty decent. Okay maybe not as good as I wanted to but I am trying.
Besides the amazing company let’s have a quick talk about the amazing place we stayed. The beautiful Caribe Resort has everything you need. Pools for days and don’t forget the lazy river. Access to a dock in the bay. Trolley ride to the beach. A beach on the gulf and bay that was quite. A quick walk to an amazing restaurant. Amazing decor and layout. Amazing employees that chat with you and help you look for your phone in the trash – we are looking at you Travis, MVP on our trip.
I would recommend this condo in a heart beat. I wish I had more to show for the inside but when you have a bunch of girls that unpack and find themselves at home right away you forget to snap photos before hand. I do have glimpse of the amazing property in the 1 Second Everyday video. Which the girls will never know but the excitement they showed toward me doing this video made my month!
We did a little bit of everything on this trip with a bunch of more things we wish we could do! We went on a Dolphin Cruise, The Yard Milkshake Bar, brunch at Brick and Spoon, and of course plenty of good food, good friends, and the beach! Now I could go on and on but instead I am going to share a bunch more photos from the trip!
They might kill me for the last picture but I just HAD to share it! This is how we all felt after we said good bye!
