“Mag Wildwood. She’s a model, believe it or not, and a thumping bore.”

IMG_6111 I did not see this post coming or did I ever think I was going to share it with all of you. Saturday night after way too much thinking and blog hoping I decided to updated my about me ‘me ‘ page. As I sat down to type away about what I like to buy and where I have lived I had a change in course begin. I started to write about how this blog came to be. What brought me to the blogging world and where the name came from because let’s be honest you are all wondering. It isn’t a fashion blog name. It isn’t a beauty blog name. I guess it could land under lifestyle blog name. So I sat there and wrote it out and I actually hit publish which is the next biggest step past writing it. It is HERE if you want to see it on its specific page but if you just want to read it keep on scrolling!

about me page

“I have never really shared with all of you how In a World of Bees came about. It’s kinda a weird story and it kinda started off in a different light than many would think. But here it goes. The last few days of my senior year I was watching the movie Julie & Julia with a friend and I looked at her and said I could do that I could start a blog. In the end we decide to create one together because she was better at writing and likes it a lot more and I was the artsy one. So we started our blog. I could not tell you the name of it for the life of me. I seemed to be the only one posting on it for a small bit but you have to remember we had this blog for hmmmm maybe a few months. Now like I said I am not a big writer if you read my blog you would know that so of course when I started out my writing was awful. With that being said my friend/co-blogger took it upon herself to write a blog post on our blog talking about how she didn’t like the way the blog was going and the writing on it wasn’t very good and so on. After the post went live and I found out later by reading said post. Of course I was a little heart broken for the mere fact that she went and posted it on the blog. I can’t even tell you how we handled it but I decided then and there to blog on my own. I deleted the blog. Created my own and came up with the name In a World of B(ees), There’s Me. B turned into Bees, because after what happened I thought along the lines in a world of Queen Bees there’s me. I was embracing my uniqueness and from there on I always felt like I wanted to be my true self and I strive to be me.

So there you have it folks. I hope you enjoyed the start up story of In a World of Bees and I hope you stay along for the journey, I don’t know where we are headed but I hope I can wear my leather jacket 24/7 there.”

I hope you liked the little time hop we took on the blog today. I hope it shows you a little more about ME and what I strive for at the end of the day!

Happy monday and I will see you all tomorrow with an outfit and a post that talks about loving yourself just the way you are.
