I haven’t spoken or shared much about my NYC trip on the blog because well to be honest I haven’t had the drive to sit down and wrote about anything even my fabulous trip to NYC and my first NYFW. I also came back to a busy month at work and sadly it is only going to get busier from here. But I finally found myself with an off day filled with no outstanding plans and a drive to actually work on my blog probably because I don’t want to clean the apartment.

This outfit was the first outfit I wore in NYC where we did a little exploring, went to two shows, and saw the Baublebar HQ!

It was a fun filled day and a hot day. This southern girl felt right at home in the heat and she was happy to see her makeup last all day.

This outfit I went very me and wore something simple, but I added drama with these vintage star earrings from my mom, and one of the many shoes I bought but actually wore in NYC. I snatched these bad boys up from Gus Mayer and they are so darn comfortable! Mainly because of that chunky heel!

Since I sadly will say I didn’t take any other outfit posts while I was in NYC I will talk about a few other bits of the trip and I will hopefully have a post about what I learned about NYFW specifically and what I would do differently!

We stayed at the modern hotel The Shoreham and it was amazing. I was very surprised how large the room was for a NYC hotel but the bathroom was small for four bloggers who wanted to look fabulous bright and early. But we made it work. I give this hotel a 5 star rating. It has a great location near Times Square, Central Park, 5th Avenue, to name a few. But the icing on the cake was the customer service at the hotel. Everyone I meet at the hotel was fabulous and so easy to work with from booking our media rate to helping get taxis they were amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a prime location!

Anyone can go to NYFW and if you want to go I say do it! It was an amazing experience and everyone and anyone who loves fashion needs to go. There is so much more I could write about on this topic but that would be a longer post.

So I am going to leave you all here and I hope you all have a great wednesday!
