Happy Mardi Gras!
Today is Mardi Gras and it came out of nowhere. I am kinda mad it came out of nowhere. I have wanted to spend Mardi Gras in Mobile since college and now I have no excuse because my sister goes to school in Mobile. Therefore, I have a free place to crash. Maybe I keep pushing it off because I want my sister to be of legal age for when I go down. Do you hear that Maddie? Get ready.
This outfit was one of my favorite outfits we shot downtown. I also picked a lovely location, which was in direct sunlight. This just proves how amazing Isaac is. I never thought I would really wear something this outrageous. Do not get me wrong I love the coat, heck I bought the coat so I must love it. I love fashion and sometimes I feel like if a piece speaks to me I am going to get it. Even if it is a bright pink faux fur coat that makes people stop and stare as I walk.
As you read yesterday I finally wrote my goodbye post to Birmingham a spot that is well known to those in Birmingham is Rotary Trail with the amazing sign at the front. I wanted a picture with that so badly and it turned out really great because this jacket just stole the show.
Which I love, I love when a piece of clothing in my closet can take a black tee and jeans and just steal the show. You will find majority of my closet is filled with jackets that do just that. They take a tshirt which I wear most days and make it seem like I spent all this time on my outfit.
I hope you all have a fabulous Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday! I know I am going to enjoy it before my lovely fasting I get to do on Wednesday. Yay Ash Wednesday. Then I am going to try to increase my inner relationship and go to Mass twice a week. I know I do not talk religion on here ever but I am hoping if I type it out where more than one person will read it I will be more likely to go.
Hopefully you guys have a fun day and those that are spending it with parades, king cake, Mardi Gras beads and all those fun things enjoy it for me too!
