“There’s no place like home”

The Bean, Chicago - Iron+Honey Photography There was something in the water when I was in Chicago. Ever since I have been back I was trying to figure out a way to make my way back to this city. Chicago has been calling my name. Though I have never lived in a city this big I am so close to jumping the crack and taking a wack at living in a big city.

I have lived in so many different places though majority have been in the south. Each one was different and each one was not me. Ever time I found myself up in the cooler weather and cities you can walk to everything I have never felt more at peace. But the question is. Is it me finding a place I love or just the fun that I am somewhere new? Will I always love it or will I soon miss the slower southern towns I have lived in.

I guess one will never know unless she is living in that different place.

Regardless to the answers to my thoughts above I will find myself in Chicago again before we ring in 2018. Hopefully it will be while the Cubs are still playing and hopefully I will love it more and more.
